This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about many facets of the Consumer Products business. The Manager will support the Director and lead partnerships within the CPG categories. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter with strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. In this role you will work across multiple internal cross-functional teams at Paramount. This role will also support our growth strategy by managing product development, marketing, new partner support, sales presentations/pitches, contract administration and coordinate quarterly revenue forecasting across diverse roster of amazing brands, partners, and categories!

 

Overview and Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day category operations, including partner management, contract status, and line lists.
  • Serve as primary driver to provide support, information, and materials for licensees to improve development of new products and continued retail expansion of existing products.
  • Track product performance and ensure licensees are up to date on all major retail initiatives and are actively pitching products for all key seasons throughout the year.
  • Assist in all quarterly forecasts and business reviews. Monitor sales results to ensure revenues meet budgetary goals.
  • Work seamlessly with internal departments, such as the Paramount Creative Group, Franchise Marketing, Legal, International, Retail Development, Digital and Retail Marketing to drive the category business strategies across all franchises.
  • Conduct periodic market tours and competitive assessments, compile findings and make recommendations with fact-based support. Be aware of industry trends.
  • Provide support by compiling relevant materials for presentations, including property overview presentations, category success stories, ratings, press stories, etc. to keep Paramount top of mind and fuel retail success
  • Identify, develop, and complete new business initiatives in assigned categories.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of experience required

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $75,000.00 - 95,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
