We are looking for a Director of Social and Multiplatform, Analytics to join our expanding team at Paramount to act as a specialist across our social media platforms.


The Research Analytics team is responsible for HQ research reporting outputs and analytics across Paramount International linear and non-linear platforms (covering TV channels, streaming services, social media and third-party data).  The role of the Analytics team is to provide regular analytics, data-led insights and business expertise.


What will you be doing?


  • Managing international performance data and analytics across social media and non-linear platforms.
  • Managing our key stakeholders (across editorial & commercial).
  • Understanding requirements and business questions and proactively supplying the performance data & analytics to inform their strategic objectives.
  • Defining business requirements and KPIs
  • Ensuring systems and data flows are in place and data delivery & dashboard projects are briefed and managed.
  • Ensure business reporting is reliable, impartial and timely.
  • Leading a small social media insights team across international.


What are we looking for?


  • Strong experience of delivering social media and non-linear data and analytics to senior stakeholders in an international media business
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat & Twitter), metrics and the wider industry.
  • Hands-on technical skills, ideally including experience using reporting tools (e.g., Tableau), native social analytics tools (e.g. Facebook CreatorStudio, YouTube CMS Analytics), cloud databases (e.g. Snowflake Google BigQuery) industry specific tools (e.g. Abode Analytics, Falcon, Tubular Labs, Talkwalker) and data manipulation & workflow automation tools (e.g. Alteryx).
  • Strong experience and understanding of YouTube, YouTube Premium Ad Sales & Google Ad Manager is an advantage
  • Experience of SQL and working with APIs for retrieving data from social platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to demonstrate subject matter authority and expertise
  • Demonstrable experience of having successfully led a team of social insights professionals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate and influence across organisational boundaries, embrace change and make improvements to working practices
  • Experience of leading data projects from defining requirements through to full delivery of automated solutions
  • Understand concepts behind Business Intelligence (e.g. – data warehouses, automation) and how information can be used to drive competitive advantage
  • Ability to accurately interpret and translate varied and complex requests into actionable tasks
  • Demonstrate ability to quickly communicate timelines, prioritize, maintain focus, delegate if necessary and deliver results in a timely manner when faced with numerous urgent tasks
  • Have excellent attention to detail and ability to monitor and review the quality of work done by self and others to maintain appropriate standards
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Passion for working in the media and entertainment industry
