Join Paramount Global's Home Entertainment Transactional Accounting team as a Financial Analyst! This exciting position is responsible for all accounting functions related to Paramount Global Domestic and International Digital Distribution. The person in this role, will work on a hybrid schedule, reporting to the Manager, Accounting for the Home Entertainment Transactional Accounting division of Paramount Pictures. Overview and Responsibilities:

•    Review and analysis of Digital license agreements (interpret contractual terms; establish revenue recognition requirements; establish billing and payment terms).
•    Assist with royalty statement ingestion and processing through Media Maestro system.
•    Research and map high volume product data for third party interface.
•    Maintenance of royalty statements tracker and summary log.
•    Prepare month end journal entries.
•    Prepare various general ledger account reconciliations and roll-forwards.
•    Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.


Basic Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
•    Minimum 1-year related experience preferred (including internships)
•    Experience in Entertainment Industry preferred


Additional Qualifications:

•    Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Excel)
•    Strong analytical and organizational skills
•    Self-starter with ability to proactively identify issues and propose resolutions
•    Excellent written & oral communication and inter-personal skills
•    Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
•    Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently and meet strict deadlines
•    Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States






Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 70,000.00. 


The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
