Types of Roles:

 

Desktop Support Intern (100% in-person NYC)

The Client Services group provides level 2 technical support to our end-users, in our corporate headquarters in New York City. The team is responsible for all desktop-related items including the deployment of new laptops as well as proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and tracking/documentation of technical issues.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Complete the primary job function within the Client Tech umbrella including, but not limited to, configuring new laptops, working on support tickets, trouble-shooting technical issues, working on project teams to deliver new products/applications to our end users, etc.
  • Assist with our building-wide agile implementation project, which involves converting tech equipment on the floors to agile (removing old equipment, unboxing and setting up new monitors).
  • Assist with our building-wide equipment refresh project. The tasks include imaging laptops (Mac/PC), copying data, and installing applications.

 

Qualifications:

• Possesses general knowledge in both Desktop hardware and software (Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook/Office 365OneDrive, and Office for Mac , general understanding of video conferencing setup and troubleshooting (i.e. Cisco, Zoom))

• General understanding and ability to support/troubleshoot hardware and software.

• Clear and consistent in communicating with users, team, and manager

 

Technology Asset Intern - Nickelodeon (100% in-person  Burbank, CA)

 

The ITAM team works with all divisions on a global scale to ensure that process and policy is being followed for all hardware and software assets. This team also works closely with the ServiceNow team as our source of truth datasource. We are responsible for ensuring data integrity across Paramount. In this role, they will work with different productions to ensure they have the proper hardware.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hardware to Nickelodeon productions as needed.
  • BAU items to include receiving new hardware, maintaining the asset database, reclaiming hardware, etc.
  • Opportunity to work with multiple divisions throughout Paramount, not just Nickelodeon. This will give exposure to how other divisions function and manage their data and process.

 

Qualifications:

  • Should be able to communicate efficiently and professionally.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Should have a technical background and understand how to logically process tasks.
  • Must be self-motivated and work under minimal supervision.

 

Archive Curator Internship - Paramount Pictures Studio Lot (Hybrid)

  • Projects for this intern include identifying key archive assets for furthur action, work on presenting actions to key archivists for further work, and complete a presentation on the department. Archives makes sure new assets (films, tv shows, props, costumes, and music) are collected and old ones are preserved. Hybrid position.

 

Asset Management Internship - Paramount Pictures Studio Lot (Hybrid)

  • This internship works in the Features Mastering Group and will assist the Mastering and Preservation department with work that includes research & reviewing video/audio files, creating standards, and provide training in our digital asset archive. We are looking for candidates with strong oral & written skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and an interest in the post-theatrical process.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
