The Global Content Operations department seeks a full-time Content Coordinator to join its Amsterdam-based team.



Global Content Operations is responsible for sourcing and registering all content (shows, promos, trailers, music videos), all related localization (subtitles, dubbing, voice over) and all required (editorial) metadata scheduled for publishing on our linear channels and non-linear platforms.



The Content Coordinator is responsible for content sourcing, processing and making this content ready for publishing (linear/ non-linear) with a strong focus on ensuring the high quality metadata is available and consistent.



The Content Coordinator works in Global Content Operations and reports to the Supervisor Content Operations.


As a member of the department, you will:

  • Source all content and its technical and editorial metadata required for publication;
  • Ensure content including its editorial metadata is published in time and flawlessly on linear or non-linear platforms to ensure 99.99% or above uptime;
  • Coordinate, in collaboration with the Brands and Language Operations, all required localization such as subtitling and dubbing, access services and editorial metadata;
  • Collaborate constructively with peers from Brand and other IMM or VIMN teams;
  • Ensure metadata availability and consistency throughout the complete database;
  • Create availability lists of our content and metadata and provides this to our multiplatform team and (international) partners;
  • Will work on replacing (parts of) our content (and localization and metadata) database to transform this into one in the highest industry standards;
  • Seek developmental goals and works to attain them and is open and responsive to feedback;
  • Provide operational support to team/department projects as required by the supervisor.
