DESCRIPTION OF THE DEPARTMENT
Channel Operations is responsible for transforming brand strategies from Paramount’s brand organization into seamless, automated transmission schedules. This department ensures that all on-air content is legally compliant, editorially sound, and technically flawless. Core responsibilities include executing marketing strategies, creating engaging channel flows, managing live broadcasts, and acting as the final checkpoint before content reaches our viewers. The team also monitors service performance and escalates issues when needed.
As a Presentation Scheduler, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely creation of daily transmission schedules for assigned television channels. Your work ensures that programming, marketing campaigns, and on-air elements are flawlessly executed in line with brand identity and regulatory requirements.
This role reports to the Manager, Channel Operations within the Channel Operations department at IMM.
What will you be doing?
Key responsibilities:
Client Service

Serve as the primary contact for the channel’s Programming Manager and Media Planner.

Produce precise and attractive broadcast schedules that meet brand, legal, and editorial standards.

Implement on-air marketing campaigns as briefed, ensuring correct tactical placement.

Ensure correct execution and support for our commercial sales teams we work with.
Collaboration

Coordinate with Content Operations and Broadcast Operations to meet scheduling deadlines.

Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth transmission.

Maintain an area of subject matter expertise (e.g. graphics, systems, workflows) within the team.
Efficiency

Ensure accurate data entry and output within our scheduling systems.

Prioritize tasks effectively, demonstrating persistence and resourcefulness under tight deadlines.
Development

Set and pursue individual development goals; be open to feedback and learning opportunities.

Keep channel documentation accurate and up to date.

Contribute creative ideas to improve workflows and operational processes.

Support department projects as required by the supervisor.

Desired Experience & Background

Professional experience: At least 1 year of experience in scheduling, planning, or a TV (post-)production environment.

Education: Vocational college qualification or Bachelor’s degree.

Experience working with database or scheduling software is preferred.

Knowledge or interest in television and/or broadcasting technology.
