Please note this is a fixed-term contract for 8 months, with start date ideally in January 2025.
Is this the role for you?
The Presentation Scheduler is responsible for the operations of one or more linear TV channels of a Paramount brand. You will work in Channel Operations department and report to the Manager Channel Operations.
Channel Operations is responsible for realizing instructions from Paramount brand organization into flawless transmission schedules that can be played out to air automatically. Key responsibilities include the correct execution of on-air marketing strategies, the creation of attractive channel flows, the operational management of live shows and the editorial, legal and technical soundness of all transmissions. The department provides the final check on all efforts before the product is delivered to our customers and is charged with identifying and escalating any issue that could affect service performance.
What will you be doing?
- Be the main point of contact for the Programming Manager and Mediaplanner of the channel;
- Create accurate and attractive schedules and ensure they meet brand- and legal requirements;
- Execute on air promotion strategies by tactically scheduling marketing campaigns according to briefing;
- Liaise with Content Operations and Broadcast Operations to ensure all schedules are prepared according to deadlines;
- Monitor, prevent and solve technical problems before transmission to ensure flawless play out;
- Ensure all data entry to and output from the channel operations management is accurate;
- Prioritize work and be persistent and resourceful in order to deliver results;
- Seek developmental goals and work to attain them and be open and responsive to feedback;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation about the channel;
- Come up with original, creative ideas and solutions and work proactively to improve processes;
- Provide operational support to team projects as required by the Manager.

DESIRABLES:
- Education: BA level in work and thinking;
- Experience with working in database software is preferred;
- Language skills: Effective communication in English and preferable one other language.
