For the Marketing department we are looking a full time (position based in Amsterdam, Netherlands):
Senior Coordinator Marketing & Social Media Kids & Family BLX
Responsibilities:
- Act as the central marketing and social media point of contact for the Nickelodeon in the BLX region, working closely with the international marketing team.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives in the region, adapting and rolling out key international campaigns for the local market, working closely with Nickelodeon international marketing and following the global brand and franchise strategies:
- Track and analyse the performance and results of campaigns and initiatives, create reports,and present key learnings to stakeholders.
- Localisation and implementation/posting of the global Nickelodeon social media content strategy on local social platforms, in cooperation with the international marketing and social team:
- Keep Monday social media planner updated, add links and hashtags
- Keep Monday-Creative planner updated, brief creative this way with all campaigns
- Monitor performance with special attention to audience growth and viewer numbers create social recap reports.
- Manage local marketing and social media budget. Raise PO’s and ensure timely payment.
- Work closely with programming, creative, PR, consumer products, and other departments, providing support for partnerships and activations that widen the brands or key franchise visibility in the region.
- Be the region’s Kids & Family marketing contact, providing help and support for external agencies, JV partners, our sales house, and affiliates.
- Supervise freelance social media producers and/or external agencies as required.
- Stay abreast of channel performance as well as trends and developments within the media landscape.
That‘s why we want you to have:
- Academic degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or relevant field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in social media, marketing, or brand management, ideally within a broadcast media or creative agency environment.
- Dutch native with a good understanding of English.
- Great affinity with kids’ entertainment services, a passion for TV and international kids’ content.
- A creative mindset, supported by strong analytical- and project management skills.
- Self-starting, pro-active and solution/results oriented.
- Flexible, pro-active, accurate, a team-player.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and partners.
- Computer skills (esp. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
