Digital Producer, CBS Baltimore (WJZ)

We're on the lookout for a Digital Producer who thrives in a fast-paced news environment and is passionate about engaging audiences across all digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage digital strategy to optimize user engagement across various platforms.
• Make independent editorial decisions to craft and feature news content aligned with station philosophy and brand objectives.
• React swiftly and effectively to breaking news, ensuring coverage across all digital channels.
• Assign reporters to generate updates, fresh content, and multimedia assets for digital platforms.
• Multitask effectively while collaborating with on-air television assignment editors and producers.
• Initiative-driven approach to achieving digital goals autonomously.
• Write and edit scripts and video content as needed.

Experience

• 2 to 3 years of experience in news, coupled with a strong background in digital and social media.
• Proven writing, editorial, and editing skills.
• Experience working in newsroom operations.
