The ideal candidate will lead brand marketing campaigns for Greater China, ensuring strong branding and achieving marketing objectives. This role involves driving marketing roadshows and events, collaborating with third-party partners, and creating campaign visuals. The candidate will also provide regular reports, engage and grow the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) base, and manage relationships with social agencies and platform holders. Additionally, they will devise and drive social media strategies, analyze data for continuous improvement, and stay updated with the latest social trends and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Nickelodeon Brand Management
• Lead and execute brand marketing initiatives with a strong focus on social media and digital brand presence, aligned with global and regional initiatives
• Localize global messaging and content for Chinese audiences’ preferences and cultural nuances
• Develop business and brand social strategies that communicate a compelling value proposition
• Be the brand ambassador for both internal and external partners
• Deliver brand training and support to internal and external parties
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive brand promotions and business goals
• Provide brand and marketing support to partners
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to maintain a strong and cohesive brand voice
• Ensure brand guidelines are met across all creatives, across platforms that feature Nickelodeon assets.
• Ensure operations adhere to internal frameworks, policies, and audit standards
• Develop and manage budgets, planning, and cost control initiatives
• Manage marketing & social assets inventory. Build proper department knowledge retention processes, and ensure past projects are properly archived
Nickelodeon Marketing
• Develop and execute brand marketing campaigns for the Greater China region. Consolidate resources/parties and deliveries with excellent project management, execution, and promotions
• Drive and execute marketing roadshows and events; work with partners on on-ground brand experiences, ensure that there is strong branding, and activities meet marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with 3rd party partners, drive brand growth, maximize reach, engagement, and customer acquisition and retention.
• Work with designers to develop campaign key visuals and collaterals for adaptation across all platforms
• Provide regular post reports for key marketing campaigns
• Engage with and grow the KOL base, partner with KOL to drive brand exposure
Social Media Management
• Devise and drive Nick China's social media strategy to grow platforms' reach and engagement.
• Manage relationships with social agencies and platform holders to ensure all daily operations and Administrative matters are handled seamlessly
• Ensure that brand social strategies communicate a compelling value proposition for our target audience.
• Continuously improve by analyzing social data/metrics and acting on insights
• Provide regular post reports for key social media campaigns.
• Stay updated with the latest social trends and platforms, especially those suitable for kids and their parents in China.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or Media-related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant marketing and social media/brand management experience
- Passion for animation and the kids’ industry
- Well-versed in managing relationships with external partners and collaborating internally across a variety of teams
- Effective at managing multiple projects and able to work under tight deadlines
- Experience in social media listening and measuring the success of content
- Up to date with the latest China social media trends, platforms, and the digital space
- Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English
- Strong interpersonal and prioritization skills with the ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and key computer programs, with some Photoshop skills
