Creative Director P+ - GSA

 

Is this the role for you?
Paramount+ is seeking an exceptional Creative Director to drive subscriber growth, brand awareness, and cultural impact in GSA (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) building best-in-class creative campaigns.

 

What will you be doing?
The role will be the driving force behind all creative output across the region. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the visual and narrative identity of Paramount+ in one of Europe’s most dynamic media markets. You will lead the development and execution of locally resonant, globally aligned creative campaigns, ensuring that every piece of content reflects the brand’s bold ambition and premium positioning.

 

Working in close partnership with EMEA Creative, Marketing and Strategy teams and local media and marketing teams, you will collaborate to deliver high-impact, culturally relevant storytelling that connects with audiences in GSA while maintaining the integrity of the Paramount+ brand. From concept to execution, you will oversee creative strategy, campaign development, and production workflows, ensuring consistency, innovation, and excellence at every touchpoint.

 

The role reports into the VP Marketing P+ GSA and plays a pivotal role in the wider EMEA Senior Management Team. The Creative Director P+ GSA, manages agencies to create local and adapt global campaigns.


Key Responsibilities
Creative Excellence

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver high-impact creative solutions.
  • Deliver world-class communications through the line, from brand to performance marketing.
  • Maximize brand impact by ensuring synergy and consistency across all creative assets.
  • Develop a clear, consistent brand voice and compelling storytelling across all platforms.
  • Drive word of mouth and buzz.
  • Push creative boundaries to produce award-winning, culturally resonant campaigns that create conversation in the industry and among our audiences.
  • Drive social media integration and create platform-native, engaging content.
  • Deliver efficient and effective communications.
  • Understand and leverage the full marketing funnel to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Maintain efficient workflows within a complex, matrixed global organization.
  • Ensure seamless execution of TX workflows, resource allocation, and compliance protocols.
  • Integrate creative testing and cross-media insights to optimize campaign performance and ROI.

Leadership

  • Lead and inspire internal and external agencies to deliver excellence across all touchpoints.
  • Champion brand values and DNA, ensuring Paramount+ is delivered meaningfully to consumers.
  • Oversee shoot productions with strict adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Manage freelance talent in line with Paramount policies.
  • Lead the evolution of creative operations to support a growing streaming business.
  • Champion a digital-first mindset and modernize workflows to meet partner and performance marketing needs.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with EMEA teams to ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with the VP Creative EMEA (UK-based) and global teams (US-based) to support global tentpole campaigns and initiatives.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all creative initiatives across GSA and ensure EMEA teams understand the GSA market and where comms needs to differ.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven senior marketing leadership experience in streaming.
  • Deep understanding of the GSA market and cultural landscape.
  • Strong strategic thinking, creative vision, and operational rigor.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Native level of German and professional fluency in English.

  • Understanding and experience of delivering fully integrated direct to consumer campaigns including use of emerging platforms.
  • Experience managing and working with on and off-screen talent, creative & design agencies.
  • Proven entertainment brand building experience.
  • Experience at building and delivering brand value and integrity through creative content
  • Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.
