As VP Marketing, GSA, you will play a central role in driving subscriber growth, strengthening brand perception, and shaping cultural relevance across Germany, Switzerland and Austria – one of the most important markets within EMEA.
The role combines strategic direction with hands-on leadership. You will translate EMEA priorities into locally resonant, high-impact marketing initiatives, ensuring best-in-class cross-platform execution across brand, title, media and social.

Overview
This role will lead execution of all marketing initiatives across the region, responsible for driving brand growth, brand perception, title awareness and audience engagement in one of Paramount’s key European markets.
This is a pivotal hands-on leadership role that oversees a high-performing team across title and partner marketing, media, creative and social. You will be instrumental in shaping the regional marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with global priorities while delivering locally resonant campaigns that captivate audiences and drive results.
The role reports into the SVP, Head of Marketing, EMEA and plays a pivotal role in the EMEA Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
• Define and lead the overarching marketing and media strategy and set annual, quarterly and rolling plans for Paramount+ in GSA, aligned with EMEA and global priorities.
• Champion the Paramount+ brand, ensuring consistent positioning and messaging across all consumer touchpoints.
• Lead local original and multi title marketing where they differ from EMEA and global priorities
• Manage the local marketing budget and set clear department KPIs
• Champion editorial excellence and platform-native content strategies that resonate with local audiences.
• Support the integration of social-first thinking across all marketing efforts.
Measurement
• Continually track local KPIs and assess impact of marketing activity on user acquisition, retention and LTV, driving efficiencies and local understanding into the global UA and retention teams as well as the EMEA strategy and planning teams
• Continually improve campaign effectiveness and efficiencies integrating creative testing and cross-media campaign findings to optimise ROI
• Ensure campaigns are optimized across the marketing funnel, driving awareness, consideration, and conversion.
Creativity
• Oversee all creative output, ensuring world-class storytelling and brand consistency across campaigns.
• Inspire the Creative Director to push creative boundaries, win awards, and deliver impactful campaigns & partnerships which drive maximum awareness and engagement to drive intent to subscribe
• Drive innovation and creativity across all marketing disciplines, from experiential to partner, brand to performance.
• Drive brand awareness, love, consideration and buzz leaning in to social and experiential to bring the brand to life
Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of senior marketing professionals.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages creativity, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with P+ EMEA teams including VP Brand and Title Marketing, VP Media and Social, VP Creative and Sr Director Audience and Marketing Strategy to share best practices and align on cross-market initiatives.
• Work with Global User Acquisitions and Lifecycle teams and local and EMEA PR teams to drive holistic and efficient audience comms around key priorities
• Collaborate with content and distribution teams to deliver compelling partner marketing campaigns.
• Ensure efficient resource allocation, budget management, and compliance with legal and safety protocols.
• Play an integral role in the EMEA Marketing SLT and drive process improvements and agile ways of working across the marketing function.
Candidate Profile
• 10+ years senior marketing leadership experience in streaming or subscription D2C services
• Deep understanding of the GSA market, media, audiences and cultural landscape
• Strong strategic thinking, creative vision, and operational rigor.
• As happy implementing campaigns as driving strategy and leading team
• Exceptional ability to deep dive into data and derive actionable insights
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
• Fluent in English and German.

Skills and Experience
Understanding and experience of delivering fully integrated direct to consumer campaigns including use of emerging platforms and understanding performance data to drive insight and decision making.
Leverages data analytics to guide decisions, ensuring campaigns balance CPA with LTV and optimize acquisition and retention metrics.
