Pluto TV is the leading free international streaming service, delivering hundreds of live linear channels and thousands of titles on-demand. We’re entering an exciting period of our development, building an international team to deliver best practice retention and lifecycle marketing and drive D2C customer engagement and growth across the regions. 

 

As the Senior Manager – Retention and Lifecycle Marketing, you’ll have primary responsibility for shaping / delivering user engagement and retention in GSA (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) and the Nordics, as well as internationally. 

You’ll work with the marketing team and a range of content, product and data experts to plan, build and optimize best-in-class lifecycle journeys and initiatives that drive engagement, retention and lifetime value. You’ll be a key contributor to growth, championing a customer-centric and commercial mindset to the wider business while playing a key role defining and delivering against a set of engagement and retention KPIs. 

 

What will you be doing?

  • Conceptualize, own and deliver a retention and lifecycle marketing strategy and roadmap, covering key stages from user adoption and onboarding to engagement, retention and LTV. 

  • Plan, build and optimise multi-channel engagement campaigns and journeys within Braze, using best-practice CRM and communication techniques to drive profitable customer action. 

  • Develop customer and campaign reporting capabilities, working with analytics to measure performance against KPIs and share insights / best practice across the regions.

  • Enhance the user experience through targeted content / product discovery and recommendations.

  • Analyze user engagement and campaign data to further our understanding of key audience segments and behaviour. 

  • Present reports, insights and proposals to GSA and international stakeholders, communicating challenges and opportunities and gaining traction for your ideas. 

  • Partner with the product and content teams, develop shared roadmaps and co-operate / lead on cross-functional campaigns, projects and feature / title launches.

 

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years experience in a similar lifecycle, engagement and retention or CRM role; within the streaming or wider media industry advantageous but not required.

  • Experience planning, building and executing multichannel / automated journeys within Braze and Redfast; or similar CRM tools.

  • Strong understanding of the customer lifecycle, KPIs and engagement and retention levers, with a track record of performance improvement and growth through data-led customer initiatives. 

  • Knowledge of audience segmentation and targeting strategies and executions. 

  • Demonstrated capacity for stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration. 

  • Strong organizational, project management and communication/copywriting skills in English and German.

  • Flexible, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize workload.

  • Proactive team player with the ability to communicate effectively and an eagerness to learn and grow.
