Join Our Team
Paramount is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our OPEX/G&A Expense Accounting team in Budapest. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to corporate finance while supporting critical accounting, reporting, and analysis activities across the organization.
As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting business stakeholders, driving process improvements, and contributing to a high-performing finance organization.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries, including accruals and prepayments
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate ledger maintenance
- Analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights to business partners
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
- Collaborate with Finance and Operational teams on accounting matters and reporting requirements
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation and standardization initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and SOX requirements
- Support external and internal audit activities
- Participate in finance transformation and process improvement projects
- Mentor and support junior team members when required
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and management reporting requests
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related area
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and process improvement focused mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience in a multinational or shared services environment
- Exposure to financial reporting, month-end close, and audit support activities
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
