Are you detail-oriented, analytical and interested in working with Travel & Expense processes in an international environment?

As a T&E Analyst / Auditor, you will play an important role in reviewing and analyzing employee expense reports processed through Concur Travel & Expense and Oracle Fusion Expenses. You will help ensure that expenses are accurate, compliant with company policies and properly supported, while also identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and improve the overall expense management process.

The role combines audit, analysis, stakeholder communication and process improvement, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data while also supporting employees and business stakeholders.

 

This is a fixed term position.

 

 

What you'll do

 

  • Review and audit employee travel and expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Verify the accuracy, completeness and validity of expense claims and supporting documentation
  • Identify and investigate non-compliant, duplicate, fraudulent or excessive expense claims
  • Assess risks and prioritize audit findings and exceptions
  • Ensure expenses comply with internal controls, accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate guidelines
  • Process expense reports within agreed service levels and quality standards
  • Communicate audit findings and policy violations to employees, managers and relevant stakeholders
  • Work directly with employees to explain T&E policies and help prevent future policy violations
  • Provide guidance and support to employees using Concur and Oracle Fusion Expenses
  • Monitor high-risk transactions and spending trends to identify potential control weaknesses and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare management reporting on T&E policy findings, compliance issues and trends
  • Analyze expense data to identify spending patterns, cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to audit requests
  • Maintain accurate audit records and ensure appropriate documentation retention
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, compliance and user experience
  • Support expense management system administration, testing and process enhancements
  • Escalate exceptions, potential fraud cases and control breaches to management
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for Concur and Oracle Fusion Expenses
  • Participate in special projects and other initiatives as required

 

 

 

What we're looking for

 

  • 2+ years of experience with Concur or Oracle, with experience in Oracle Fusion Expenses being an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Concur, Oracle Fusion Expenses, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • A solutions-oriented, proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Ability to communicate quantitative and qualitative information clearly to stakeholders at different levels of the organization
  • Strong internal customer focus and a service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with employees and stakeholders at all levels

 

 

It would be a plus if you have

 

  • Experience working with SAP, Oracle Fusion or other ERP systems
  • Knowledge of finance, procurement/sourcing or information technology processes
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams throughout a project lifecycle
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience identifying process improvement and control enhancement opportunities
