FP&A Manager – Content Finance & Transformation

Budapest | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

📌 INTERNAL APPLICANTS: Thinking about making a move? Taking on a fixed-term assignment will NOT jeopardize your permanent employment. Under Paramount policy, internal transfers into fixed-term roles carry a guaranteed return to your previous or equivalent position upon completion. You retain full employment continuity—so you can step up, expand your scope, and bring your experience back.

The Opportunity

Shape how Paramount plans, funds, and measures its content—and help build the finance engine behind it.

We’re looking for an FP&A Manager to join our Content Finance team in Budapest. In this role, you’ll serve as the finance voice for Paramount’s US studio content portfolio, partnering directly with Content Finance, Acquisitions, and senior leadership on decisions that dictate what hits the screen.

Beyond portfolio strategy, you will be a key finance lead on our Oracle Fusion ERP implementation—designing how Paramount Finance operates for years to come across requirements gathering, UAT, data validation, and go-live. Few roles offer this rare double-impact: a seat at the table on major content investments paired with hands-on enterprise transformation experience.

Note on the contract: This is a focused 12-month window to drive meaningful change and gain standout resume experience. Depending on business needs, it can also open doors to future opportunities within Paramount.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Portfolio Strategy: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and the 5-year Long Range Plan for the US studio content portfolio.

  • Turn Numbers into Stories: Deliver sharp performance analysis and clear variance commentary to senior executive stakeholders.

  • Power Content Investments: Partner with Content Finance and Acquisitions to model, evaluate, and advise on prospective content investments.

  • Lead System Transformation: Serve as the core Finance voice throughout the Oracle Fusion rollout—from business requirements and UAT to data validation and post-go-live optimization.

  • Manage Risk & Opportunity: Track content spend against approved budgets, flagging risks and opportunities early.

  • Streamline Operations: Identify and execute opportunities to automate and modernize finance workflows as we transition to Oracle Fusion.

  • Core Financial Execution: Support month-end and quarter-end close activities while delivering high-impact ad hoc business cases for strategic initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5–8 years in Finance, FP&A, Accounting, or a related discipline.

  • Technical Mastery: Advanced financial modeling skills and Excel expertise.

  • Systems Exposure: ERP experience (ideally Oracle Fusion); prior exposure to implementations or finance transformation projects is a strong plus.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Strong stakeholder management experience across international, matrixed, and cross-functional environments.

  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences.

  • Adaptability: Comfort juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced media landscape.

  • Education & Languages: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; fluent English.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Health & Well-being: Private health insurance with access to top private clinics, health screening packages, and eyewear support.

  • Flexible Benefits: Monthly cafeteria package including SZÉP card, nursery support, and home loan assistance.

  • Professional Growth: Company-sponsored language courses following probation.

  • Paramount Perks: Exclusive pre-premiere movie screenings, weekly fresh fruit days, and a dog-friendly office environment.
