We are now seeking a Card Monitoring Analyst to partner closely with the Expense Audit Team to ensure consistent adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and spend governance across the Paramount Global Corporate Credit Card, BTA, and P-Card programs. This role plays a critical part in monitoring compliance with business expense policies, educating employees on proper usage, and driving accountability through timely follow-up and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and spend governance across Corporate Credit Card, BTA, and P-Card programs,
- Conducting detailed audits of expense reports and card transactions to identify non-compliance, anomalies, and potential fraud through data analysis and audit findings,
- Analyzing data to detect patterns, trends, and irregularities indicating misuse or policy violations,
- Supporting fraud investigations, validate transaction authenticity, and collaborate with HR and external partners on critical issues,
- Developing and implement fraud prevention strategies, including controls and process improvements,
- Educating employees on expense policies and ensure accountability through training and follow-up,
- Researching audit discrepancies and recommend corrective actions,
- Communicating findings to stakeholders, raise unresolved issues, and drive timely resolution,
- Drafting reports and propose enhancements to policies, procedures, and internal controls,
- Prioritizing time-sensitive tasks and continuously improve audit processes for efficiency and coverage,
- Collaborating with team leads and managers to resolve confidential or sensitive issues professionally,
- Maintaining expertise in the firm’s Expense and Reimbursement Policies and apply consistently across reviews.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CFE),
- Certified Fraud Examiner,
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, audit, expense management, or fraud investigation within a corporate environment,
- Strong understanding of expense reimbursement policies, financial controls, and regulatory compliance,
- Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential fraud or abuse,
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as Concur, SAP, Oracle, and Excel; experience with data visualization tools is a plus,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines,
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams, including HR, Finance, and Legal,
- Experience handling sensitive or confidential matters with discretion and professionalism,
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues,
- Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization in audit and compliance functions.
Additional Qualifications:
- Great teammate with the ability to work with and communicate with people at different levels within the organization to drive work forward,
- Experience in general ledger integrations and working in international environment a strong plus.
