Human Resources Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Role Overview
The Human Resources Manager supports a defined business population by partnering directly with people managers on day to day and complex HR matters.
The role focuses on practical guidance, consistent application of HR policies, and timely execution of core people's processes to support team performance, compliance, and an inclusive employee experience.
The role reports to the Human Resources Director for Hungary & Czech Republic and works closely with HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations.
What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities
- Support managers on hiring, promotions, compensation changes, leave and employee relations matters.
- Provide HR guidance on sensitive or complex situations, applying policy and local labor law, and escalating when risk or precedent is required.
- Support managers during performance cycles, including goal setting, feedback conversations, performance improvement actions, and documentation.
- Prepare and review HR data and reports (e.g. headcount, attrition, leave, performance inputs) to support decision-making processes.
- Execute core HR processes and transactions in the HR system in partnership with HR.
- Take an active role in HR projects and cross-functional initiatives, gaining exposure to different areas of Human Resources and supporting the continuous improvement of people processes.

- Contributes to consistent employee experience across the supported population.

- Recommends people actions based on policy, data, and case context.
- Decisions primarily affect individual employees or teams.
Stakeholder Interaction
- Regular, direct interaction with people managers and Onsite Leader for Hungary.
- Ongoing collaboration with HR Operations and HR COE teams.
What are we looking for?
Experience & Capabilities
- Experience in Human Resources, typically as an HR Partner, HR Generalist, or HR Manager for a minimum of 5 years.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple HR cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Practical experience across performance management, employee relations, compensation processes, hiring support, workforce planning, and leave management.
- Working knowledge of local employment legislation.
- Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- High standards of confidentiality, integrity, and inclusion.
- Fluent in English and Hungarian.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
