Our International Controllership team plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance across our global footprint.

We are now looking for an RTR Sr. Expert to join our Budapest office, focusing on International Reporting. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional eager to take ownership, drive improvements, and act as a trusted partner across the business. You will report to the Senior Manager, International Reporting and the role requires business partnering with local Finance Directors, Hub Controllers and other GBS functions (RTR, FP&A, OTC, PTP).

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Ensure that assigned international reporting activities and deliverables are performed on time
  • Prepare, review and consolidate reporting deliverables (Balance Sheet, P&L analysis and commentaries, Risks & Opportunities and any related reporting)
  • Support the preparation of Hub based financial management package for CFOs & FDs
  • Contribute to the facilitation of the quarterly Hub Package calls 
  • Act as second layer reviewer on account reconciliations for revenue accruals and deferrals as well as expense accruals and prepayments
  • Accounts Receivable reporting items follow up for content licensing deals
  • Ensure that all relevant key controls are in place and functioning properly in accordance with internal policies and procedures and Sarbanes Oxley rules and regulations.
  • Assist with ad hoc Paramount and internal management requests

 

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Education: BSc/MSc degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 4–5 years’ post-qualification experience in diverse accounting roles. 
  • Expertise: Solid accounting knowledge (US GAAP/IFRS) and ability to form strong opinions on accounting and process matters. Qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is a strong plus.

 

 

Skills:

 

  • Strong business English (written & spoken).
  • Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong time management and structured thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting in groups.
  • Personal attributes: Positive, mature, cooperative, and able to act as a role model. A “can-do” professional who takes ownership, works independently, and partners effectively with stakeholders.
