OTC Analyst

Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for numbers and solving complex financial challenges? Paramount is looking for an OTC Collections Analyst (Maternity Cover) to oversee the collection of outstanding payments from customers across multiple global markets, including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and North America.
This is a fixed-term position (1-year)!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the collection of outstanding payments across your designated regions, ensuring timely and accurate receivables.
- Engage with customers through various communication channels (email, phone) to follow up on overdue payments and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare regular reports for management on aged accounts receivable balances, bad debt risks, and overall collection performance.
- Manage and resolve customer disputes, working closely with both markets and internal stakeholders to provide prompt solutions.
- Support customers with ad-hoc requests such as account reconciliations, invoice copies, and other backup documentation.
- Keep an up-to-date knowledge of customer payment trends to improve cash forecasting and identify potential risks early.
- Meet and exceed individual cash collection targets, including reducing overdue balances and improving DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Collaborate with the Cash Applications team to resolve reconciliation issues and follow up on missing remittances and documentation.
- Work closely with Sales and Finance teams to address and troubleshoot collection challenges.
- Support the Credit and Legal departments in managing bankruptcy cases and other high-risk accounts.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions in SAP and ensure all invoices are coded correctly.
- Provide detailed accounts receivable reports and documentation to auditors when required.
- Offer cross-functional support within the OTC team to ensure seamless financial operations across all divisions.
- Handle any other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related fields (preferred, not required).
- Proficiency in English (Polish language is a plus).
- Strong Excel skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
