Responsibilities:

 

  • Process requests for creating programming project and asset master data, and establish budgets for projects.
  • Generate purchase orders for contractual obligations resulting from license agreements.
  • Review and approve invoices from vendors pertaining to programming licenses.
  • Analyze open purchase order reports to ensure accurate asset recording.
  • Develop program payment schedules based on contract reviews.
  • Prepare and park journal entries.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations for programming assets and obligations.
  • Create program asset and liability account roll forwards, along with information supporting financial statement disclosures.
  • Prepare and maintain commitments and contingencies schedules.
  • Recommend process enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with ad hoc Paramount and internal management requests.
  • Ensure compliance with key controls as per internal policies, procedures, and Sarbanes Oxley regulations.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • BS/MSc in Accounting/Finance.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to challenges and issue resolution, with a strong ability to initiate, follow through, and complete tasks on time.
  • Aim to be recognized by stakeholders as a valuable business partner.
  • Proficiency in business English language skills, both oral and written.
