RTR Analyst
Budapest, HU
Paramount is looking for an RTR Analyst to support content asset accounting and reporting. This role is focused on ensuring timely and accurate treatment of acquired programming, including capitalization, amortization, and reporting of programming-related transactions. You will work closely with both international and US-based Content FP&A teams.
This is a key role for someone with strong accounting knowledge, SAP experience, and the ability to manage complex tasks independently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Capitalizing content assets at the start of license windows
- Booking amortization and journal entries in SAP
- Executing subledger transactions such as impairments or write-offs
- Preparing reports for senior stakeholders and segment reporting
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts related to content
- Ensuring compliance with SOX and internal control requirements
- Identifying automation and process improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Around 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or shared service roles (we are open to junior candidates with relevant knowledge and motivation)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong command of English
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proactive problem solver with strong communication skills
- SAP ERP experience is a strong advantage
