Join Paramount’s global Finance organization and help power the teams behind our iconic entertainment brands. We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated RTR Senior Analyst to support our Corporate Central Services group, with a strong focus on controllership activities for our Technology organization.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely accounting, analysis, and reporting for the Technology team, while also supporting Corporate & MNHQ allocation reporting. You will work closely with both local and global partners and play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial data across Paramount’s divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main Controllership support for the Technology organization.
- Perform monthly close activities, including reclasses and accrual postings, preparation of amortizations for prepaid technology costs, and review of prepaid balances.
- Collaborate with Technology FP&A leads to prepare journal entries for monthly cost allocations across all Paramount Skydance divisions.
- Prepare journal entries for additional Corporate allocations.
- Partner with Tech FP&A to analyze variances in financial results.
- Prepare detailed allocation analyses.
- Support external audits by providing information and documentation as needed.
- Partner with Controllership, FP&A, Group Reporting, and Divisional teams on allocation-related inquiries.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by the VP, Controller, or Director of Corporate Central Services.
Role-Specific Skills & Attributes
- BSc/MSc degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience spanning a broad range of functions
- Proactive mindset with strong initiative and follow-through
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles, concepts, and processes
- Excellent business English skills (B2/C1 or above), both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
