We are now seeking a Senior Analyst, Record to Report (RTR) to join our dynamic Content Accounting team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the timely and accurate accounting of acquired programming transactions, partnering closely with our Content FP&A teams both internationally and domestically to ensure our content asset reporting is precise and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Capitalize content assets when their license window starts.
- Ensure amortization for the period is accurately booked in SAP.
- Prepare and post journal entries as required to adjust P&L and Balance Sheet accounts during quarter-end.
- Execute asset subledger transactions (impairment, write-off, retirement, etc.) in SAP.
- Prepare reports for Senior Stakeholders and New York Segment Reporting to capture movements and closing balances for programming assets and liabilities.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations for content GLs and take action to clear reconciling items.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process efficiency and automation.
- Ensure all key controls are in place and operate effectively in line with company policies and SOX requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or shared services.
Additional Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong command of business English (both written and spoken).
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
- Proven track record of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong follow-through.
- Experience with SAP ERP is a strong advantage
