Senior Analyst Programming Accounting

Are you an accounting professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for the dynamic world of content finance? We’re looking for an RTR Senior Analyst to join our team, helping us accurately track and report on programming transactions that shape our global and domestic content assets.
As an RTR Senior Analyst, you’ll work closely with our international and domestic FP&A teams to ensure precision in our financial records. You’ll take charge of complex accounting tasks independently, communicate effectively across teams, and play a critical role in ensuring our financials are in top shape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and capitalize content assets when license periods begin
- Ensure accurate amortization in SAP and handle journal entries for period-end adjustments
- Oversee subledger transactions in SAP (impairments, retirements, write-offs, etc.)
- Deliver in-depth reports for senior stakeholders and NY Segment Reporting
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for content-related GL accounts and clear reconciling items
- Identify and drive process efficiency and automation
- Ensure compliance with policies and SOX controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a shared services environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP ERP (a plus)
- Strong English skills (written and spoken)
- Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent time management
