Our Global Procurement Operations Center is a high-impact team within Paramount, working in close partnership with the Global Procurement organization to drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and deliver measurable cost savings across the enterprise.

We are now seeking a Senior Buyer to play a critical role in reviewing and approving purchase requests for goods and services across managed spend categories (e.g., Marketing, Technology, Research).  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Global Procurement, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), and Technology and Business Stakeholders to support strategic procurement initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Executing and managing indirect procurement strategies across assigned categories,
• Reviewing and approving purchase requests in Ariba and Oracle, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures,
• Executing procurement strategies and supporting competitive bidding to achieve cost savings,
• Collaborating with Category Managers and stakeholders to meet business objectives,
• Determining appropriate procurement approach (local vs. regional) based on spend and supplier profile,
• Serving as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve procurement issues and providing guidance on purchasing procedures,
• Supporting enterprise initiatives such as ERP implementation and procurement tool deployment,
• Generating and analyzing purchasing reports to support decision-making,
• Contributing to team projects and continuous improvement efforts within the procurement function. 

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years procurement experience,
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field,
• Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, and Oracle systems (Oracle Fusion experience preferred),
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the media, entertainment, or broadcasting industry,
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment,
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills,
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities,
• Proven negotiation skills and a commitment to delivering value.
