Senior Director Finance, Northern, Central and Eastern Europe

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Director Finance, Northern, Central and Eastern Europe to join our team and deliver exceptional financial management to our Pay TV business. As the Senior Director Finance, Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, you will play a central role in contributing to the achievement of annual and long-term business targets. You will provide leadership, strategic advice, and counsel to the Pay TV business and finance management teams, ensuring the successful realization of goals and strategies for Northern, Central and Eastern Europe and Pay TV. This position includes leading the financial planning process for Northern, Central and Eastern Europe and overseeing operational financial reporting, supported by FP&A COE teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial management for Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, ensuring the delivery of financial targets.
- Offer financial support to the Pay TV business and finance management team for short and long-term decision making.
- Provide strategic and financial support on the validity, viability, and impact of investments and new business initiatives in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.
- Govern the financial planning process (Annual Budgets, Monthly Forecasts, Long Range Plan) for Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.
- Responsible for operational financial reporting for Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, including month-end reporting, financial outlooks, and dashboards as requested by Pay TV business and finance management, in collaboration with FP&A COE teams.
- Work with the Controllers group and Financial Shared Service Centre (GBS) to ensure the integrity of financial transactions, financial statements, and address regulatory, reporting, and audit needs for Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.
- Continuously identify and evaluate risks and opportunities, and proactively suggest areas for improving business efficiencies and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, International Markets policies & procedures, and maintain a strong internal controls environment.
- Provide leadership in managing and developing a motivated, competent, and efficient team.
Requirements:
- 10+ years knowledge and experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, management, and accounting.
- Proven experience across all areas of Finance.
- Degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external stakeholders.
- Experience in a similar role/industry/international organization.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- International Finance experience preferred.
