Join our Master Data Governance Group (MDG) as a Senior Analyst and play a vital role in maintaining SAP Master Data at Paramount. The MDG Team collaborates with global teams to ensure data integrity and reliability, supporting complex business processes. As a Senior Analyst, your expertise in master data governance will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and achieving our business goals.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Act as a senior team member, providing guidance and support in global master data governance processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in driving activities related to S/4 HANA ERP rollouts, including testing, mapping of data elements, and error handling with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Support the implementation of the Global Title Master data management process, ensuring efficient and accurate management of title-related master data.
  • Manage replication of master data between legacy ERP systems and S/4 HANA, ensuring data consistency and integrity. Responsible for SAP Central Finance (CFIN) mapping data maintenance and error investigation.
  • Analyze data quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for improved data integrity.
  • Understand relations between attributes in SAP master data and their impact on changes, maintaining and auditing SAP FI master data.
  • Complete master data change requests and maintain organized backups, providing necessary reports upon request.
  • Perform periodic clean-up of inactive master data objects and handle mapping and ad hoc clean-up activities as assigned.
  • Allocate, monitor, and respond to inquiries in the incident management system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with control policies.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for areas of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with auditors on testing internal controls related to master data governance.
  • Provide training to newcomers, sharing knowledge and expertise in master data governance.

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business/IT.
  • 2+ years of experience in the Master Data group in a complex global environment.
  • Experience in SAP FICO and/or S/4 HANA as a user or superuser preferred. Experience with ERP rollout and/or migrations, including Master Data Governance, Testing, Training, and Change Management is desired.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to work with large datasets and databases using advanced formulas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in a multi-entity organization with international operations is preferred.
  • Media industry background is a plus.
