Paramount is seeking a visionary and hands-on Senior Director of Fraud to design and oversee enterprise-wide fraud prevention, detection, and investigation programs. This executive role will safeguard organizational integrity, mitigate risks related to employee misconduct and third-party/vendor spend, and champion a culture of transparency and accountability.

This role is responsible for conducting audits, reviewing card activity and supplier transactions, escalating risks, and supporting complex investigations. You will contribute to process enhancements, deliver policy education, and provide insights that strengthen financial stewardship across the organization.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute a global fraud monitoring, detection, and prevention strategy aligned with Paramount’s risk framework.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of fraud analysts and investigators across regions.
  • Drive continuous innovation in fraud detection systems, analytics, and reporting dashboards.

Operational Oversight

  • Conduct targeted audits of expense reports, card activity, and supplier transactions to identify anomalies.
  • Manage complex investigations, escalating risks appropriately and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Implement best-practice controls and process improvements to strengthen spend governance.

Collaboration & Education

  • Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure cohesive fraud risk management.
  • Deliver training programs and policy education to elevate fraud awareness across the organization.
  • Draft reports, recommend corrective actions, and propose enhancements to policies and internal controls.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or certification (CPA and/orMBA) a plus
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) required
  • 5+ years of experience in fraud monitoring, investigation, and interviewing
  • Experience leveraging machine learning or predictive analytics for fraud identification
  • Proven ability to present findings and recommendations to senior executives and board-level stakeholders
  • Strong data analytics proficiency (SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Proven leadership experience managing fraud teams or major fraud programs
  • Deep understanding of expense reimbursement policies, controls, and compliance
  • Ability to analyze large data sets to identify trends and potential fraud
  • Experience with financial systems (Concur, SAP, Oracle)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization
  • Knowledge of fraud detection technologies and case management systems
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (SOX, AML, HIPAA)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, insurance) is preferred
