Overview & Responsibilities:

This is a team that is passionate about solving problems and improving workflows and tools for the people we work with every day. The solutions we’re working on are important and are at the heart of how we deliver premium content to millions of people every day!

This role is focused on delivering on and contributing to the vision and roadmap for our Central Systems. You will work together with the Director, Product for Central Systems on the integration and implementation of tools across the content supply pipeline.

Participate in product management and development of Paramount+ Central Systems, which may include rights management, title management/metadata store, media asset management and avails management.

Collaborate with the Operations & Engineering teams to build knowledge of existing content supply-chain systems and gain an understanding of needs from the larger team in order to translate those needs into practical projects and long-term roadmap

Create a strong relationship with Video Operations, Content Operations, and Engineering; work together to determine solutions and ensure that the development teams have all the information they need to successfully complete initiatives!

When applicable, engage in scrum team activities (grooming, planning, standups, story writing, and prioritization).

Provide clear vision to support technical development including but not limited to: scope documentation, use cases, workflows, sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, etc.

Align various stakeholders across product, technology & operations on delivery scope and in preparation for launches.

Work to meet agreed upon time frames / target dates with the development teams and PMO partners.


Basic Qualifications:


  • 4+ years of experience in product management for software development, with demonstrated competence in prioritizing against business value and balancing trade-offs
  • Demonstrated passion for building workflow tools and supporting internal teams
  • Strong sense of standard methodologies for product management and have extensive experience with Agile development methodologies

Additional Qualifications:


  • Deep understanding with complex technical workflow systems and tools; engineering experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to lead meetings and drive results
  • Strong curiosity about and understanding of the streaming media landscape
  • Able to form valuable relationships with people across functional groups in order to facilitate effective product development
