Overview:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversee and manage all awards submissions. This includes submitting to major voting bodies like the Television Academy (Emmys), Golden Globes, Critics' Choice Awards, SAG Awards, Producers Guild, Writers Guild, Directors Guild, and regional critics groups.

Determine eligibility and build submission strategy alongside SVP and Director of Awards for slate of scripted and unscripted content for Paramount+.

Manage all entry logistics including submission portals, screener uploads, episode selection, category placement, and required materials.

Ensure all submissions meet hard deadlines and comply with awards body regulations and eligibility requirements.

Track and maintain detailed records of all submissions, categories, and submission materials across all awards bodies.

Create and maintain comprehensive awards calendars tracking all major awards timelines, deadlines, voting periods, and ceremony dates.

Communicate key dates, nomination announcements, and ceremony details to internal and external partners.

Partner with SVP and Director to coordinate awards consultants, agencies, and internal teams to ensure aligned strategy and execution.

Manage day-to-day logistics during awards season including screening coordination, Q&A scheduling, and event support.

Oversee creation and distribution of FYC materials including screeners, DVDs, digital uploads, and guild screening materials.

Manage guild screening materials and ensure compliance with all guild-specific requirements.

Manage ceremony logistics including nominee and executive attendance coordination, publicist credentials, tickets, and seating.

Coordinate ceremony assets, presenter opportunities, and clip requests.

Track awards budget expenditures including submission fees, consultant fees, screening costs, and FYC materials.

Maintain detailed awards tracking database including historical data, submissions, nominations, and wins.

Stay current on evolving awards regulations, rule changes, and eligibility requirements across all major awards bodies.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field required.

5+ years of progressive experience in awards, publicity, or marketing in the television, streaming, or film entertainment industry.

Demonstrated experience managing awards submissions and navigating awards processes across multiple voting bodies.

Deep knowledge of Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG, Critics Choice, and guild awards processes including eligibility rules, voting timelines, and submission requirements.

Advanced proficiency with awards databases, tracking systems, submission portals, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with FYC platform technologies.

Ability to work holidays and weekends on a seasonal basis during peak awards season.

Experience navigating complex awards regulations and rule interpretations.

Extraordinary organizational and planning skills with proven track record managing complex timelines, multiple deadlines, and detailed tracking systems.

A deep knowledge of the awards landscape including comprehending voter demographics, category dynamics, competitive positioning, and historical trends.

Strategic thinker who approaches challenges with innovative solutions within awards rules and ethical boundaries.

Great collaboration skills with ability to work across creative, marketing, publicity, content, legal, and business affairs teams.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $64,800.00 - 90,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
