As a member of the Paramount+ product team, you will create a top-notch product experience for different international markets. Your focus will be on the customers, using data, market research, and user research to help improve our products and support business growth.

 

 

As a product lead on our connected television team, you will partner with our engineers to identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities and feature sets that will delight our customers. You will execute on that vision with features developed in market and ensure end-to-end quality. In this role you will be on the bleeding edge of technology and positioned to shape the platform strategy and overall performance of Paramount+. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Product Development.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be the voice of the customer.
  • Organize weekly meetings–set agendas, provide recaps and identify action items tied to key initiatives.
  • Define, deliver, and measure progress against OKRs.
  • Translate vision, strategy, and roadmap into product definition, epics, and stories that can be communicated to engineering, QA and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Take ownership over the quality of experience and deliver based on customer feedback.
  • Operate both independently and as part of a broader team; juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a results-oriented environment.
  • Interpret usage data and develop reports and presentations analyzing product usage.
  • Actively participate in efforts to optimize and grow the Paramount+ subscription service & expand the footprint of available devices to stream on.
  • Think like a user, building features and tools to discover the best content we offer in an easy, intuitive way.
  • Find user pain points which may occur while using Paramount+ and come up with innovative solutions to address those issues.  

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years product experience building and delivering successful products, services and capabilities.
  • Experience solving problems in an ambiguous environment with constant change
  • Ability to evaluate opportunities presented, gain internal buy-in, and prioritize for execution.
  • Planning acumen, with ability to break down work and define an MVP, as well as subsequent iterations.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality features that improve the customers' experience and achieve business goals.
  • Collaborative spirit with key organizational areas: PMO, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, computer science, media or relevant fields preferred.

 

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • History with international web & applications / DTC subscription of premium services.
  • Experience with consumer-facing video streaming experiences including media-centric information architecture.
  • Experience working with different teams to develop a cross company collaborative tool or product.
  • A love for entertainment and a passion for streaming.
  • Desire to grow and shape an industry. Experience working on consumer facing products. 
  • Keen eye and attention to detail. 
  • Great communication skills to all levels of the organization. 
  • Organizational skills to deliver projects from inception to launch.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

 

Hiring Salary Range: $110,000.00 - 155,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
