Role Details: Marketing Strategy & Operations represents the voice of our business units (CBS Sports, CBS Entertainment, CBS News, Paramount+, Pluto TV) within the digital ad sales organization. The team is charged with strategic management, market positioning, opportunity development, and the post-sale activation of creative media solutions. 

 

We are seeking an ambitious and hard-working Coordinator for our Sports Marketing Strategy & Operations team to help us achieve our marketing and revenue goals. The Coordinator role will support the Sponsorship Operations group by aiding in the activation of sponsorships for custom branded programs, ensuring seamless execution, campaign optimization, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports, highly organized, solutions-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving marketplace.


Your Day-to-Day:

  • Assist in the management of post-sale execution of sponsorship programs, including tracking key creative assets and approvals, monitoring live elements to ensure peak performance, and preparing client-facing wrap reports that highlight the success and impact of a campaign.
  • Coordinate communication and deliverables between internal teams (such as sales, production, and Ad Ops) to ensure sponsorship activations are executed seamlessly and on schedule.
  • Help maintain and update project management tools, timelines, and documents to ensure accurate tracking of all sponsorship elements.
  • Assist with day-to-day and team advancement projects  (e.g. internal process audits and improvements) that create new efficiencies and improve work quality.
  • Contribute to brainstorm sessions and weekly editorial meetings, keeping and distributing notes and records to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to help identify new opportunities for enhancing sponsorship activation and client engagement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and communication skills, with an understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives
  • Knowledge of the Sports industry, with the ability to identify emerging trends and stay ahead of what’s relevant in the space
  • Ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging, and actionable insights for sales teams, clients, production, and programming
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in key software applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel) with the ability to adapt to new tools and systems

 

Work Location: this is a hybrid position with office locations open to New York City, Stamford, CT or Fort Lauderdale.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $50,000 - $57,5000. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
