Primary Responsibilities:

Paramount Tech is hiring a Product Manager. This position is responsible for keeping track of documents, ensuring communication of the latest product information to all applicable parties, and makes sure surprises are limited.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

· Handles product development meetings with vendors as needed, follow up on roadmap items and deployment of fixes in partnership with Product Director and collaborators

· Leads the change management process by reviewing change requests, determines the applicability, risks, benefits, and costs associated with the request

· Works closely with engineering, networking and operations teams to identify issues, build new solutions to benefit their workflow, and keep them informed of feature development

· Acts as a knowledge sharing hub/conduit for information and supports communication of development with cross-functional partners

· Supports the Product Director in various aspects of the product development lifecycle and projects, ensures documentation and records are up to date

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications or equivalent required

· Minimum 5 years prior experience in linear television channel operations center

 

Additional Qualifications:

 

· Understanding of linear channel playout & distribution chains

· Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products

· Ability to clearly articulate product requirements amongst a variety of audiences including but not limited to technical and non-technical clients as well as 3rd party service providers

· Experience with IT Project Management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and Waterfall

· Basic understanding of ITIL and ServiceNow

· Ability to work independently with strong project management and troubleshooting skills

· Understanding of financial systems used for invoicing, PO creation, budget tracking and microservice based architectures

· Experience in Media and Entertainment preferred
