We are seeking a Facilities Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all critical infrastructure at the Paramount Cloud Control Center in Hauppauge! This role ensures optimal performance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems to support continuous uptime and compliance with industry standards. The manager will lead a team of technicians, coordinate with vendors, and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of data center facilities, including power, cooling, and environmental systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and operational procedures.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for crucial infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain UPS systems, generators, chillers, CRAC units, fire suppression systems, and other vital equipment.
- Handle testing and fail/over operations to ensuring all redundant systems operate as designed.
- Respond to alarms and solve issues to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers for maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure that all work is performed as per service agreements and Company standards.
- Raise vendor performance issues to management.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards such as OSHA, NFPA, and local regulations.
- Maintain maintenance and testing documentation for audits and certifications.
- Schedule, Supervise and train facility technicians.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in facility/plant engineering.
- Shown experience as a team leader.
- Minimum of a high school education plus two years training in HVAC or electrical trades.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint) MS Project, BMS systems.
- Ability to ensure 24/7 site operations and respond to afterhours emergencies when needed; overtime and weekend work will be required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $85,000.00 - 90,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
