The CBS Studios Communications team is looking for a coordinator to support a VP of Communications and assist with larger departmental needs. We handle communications and publicity campaigns for dramas, comedies, daytime, late night and animation across all platforms including CBS, Paramount+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Comedy Central etc. We also spearhead awards campaigns, junkets, events, conventions and conferences, as well as international publicity for our series.
 
Responsibilities:
•    Monitoring, pulling and sending out daily press clippings for CBS Studios titles.
•    Provide support and assisting in the execution of publicity and awards campaigns.
•    Field and fulfill press requests to accommodate deadlines.
•    Coordinating and managing talent travel, and building out schedules and itineraries.
•    Assisting with key industry events with staffing, coordinating logistics, producing press materials, etc.
•    Track development news breaks and announcements amongst trade and consumer press. Responsible for compiling and distributing press stories for senior management and studio’s internal communications.
•    Tracking and processing awards invoices, and department subscriptions.
•    Maintaining press contact information and lists.
•    Provide administrative support to VP of Communication and backup support for EVP, including booking travel, manage calendars, set up meetings & conference calls, expense reports, process and submit invoices and maintain records. 
 
Basic Qualifications:
•    1 year of entertainment industry experience (strong internships considered)
•    Bachelor’s Degree required
 
Additional Qualifications:
•    Ability to multitask and can handle a fast-paced environment!
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Working knowledge of media – both traditional and social
•    Professionalism, strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working with press and talent
•    Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and attention to detail
•    Ability to adapt to changing situations, good judgement, self-starter and resourcefulness

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 60,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
