Senior Director, Global Distribution Operations & Fulfillment

Overview and Responsibilities:
The Senior Director role will lead a strong team overseeing global content distribution and fulfillment operations of over 200,000+ hours of content across all Paramount Media Networks, MTVE, Showtime, Comedy Central, CMT, BET, VH1, Smithsonian, Nickelodeon and Awesomeness to third party licensees!
They are responsible for daily operations for distribution to clients worldwide, as well as to Paramount’s media supply chain for Paramount+ O&O, streaming affiliates and its international linear channels. They also distribute content to 1200+ partners including iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, SkyShowtime, Fetch, Stan, Crave, BBC, TF1, Canal+, M6, WowWow, Mercado Libre, Venevision and more!
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Collaborates closely with the P+ content management and Paramount media supply chain teams ensuring final, delivered assets funnel through necessary channels for program launches.
- Works jointly with post-production teams on timing requirements for delivery of final cut deliveries to ensure vendors based on specific distribution models.
- Charged with coordinating the technical onboarding process for new clients on behalf of Studio Operations, working with the Multi-platform Distribution (MPD) group under Paramount Global Content Distribution (PGCD) to ensure the Studio is aptly represented.
- Advises and guides team on asset rejections, asset validations and redelivery timings, directing on action plans. Coordinates with PGCD Deal Management on asset availability and fulfillment timing during deal negotiations.
- Handles an efficient and meticulously organized order management and fulfillment system and process, ensuring delivery deadlines are successfully met in alignment with deals tied to revenue targets.
- Point of Contact for PGCD Commercial Operations and Deal Management for global licensing.
- Lead all aspects of order management process in Salesforce.
- Supervise teams on work orders and fulfillment management in Xytech.
- Generate fulfillment reports to PGCD Deal Management and Finance for licensing and revenue recognition.
- Direct a small team on DVD and Blu-Ray production for Showtime and MTVE titles slated for physical home video release, working with Paramount Home Entertainment (PHE) on timing, costs, and other strategies
- Key contributor to systems development, upgrades and integrations to automate various fulfillment and distribution workflows, identifying efficiencies and cost savings.
- Responsible for vendor selection based on appropriate fulfillment requirements; participates in rate (re)negotiations and generates spending forecasts for budget reviews.
- Work closely with SAMMe on identifying, scrubbing, tagging, and moving highest resolution submission masters for legacy Viacom assets into Studio archive system.
- Manage the onboarding of new users to Corporate wide screening platform, Indee
- Collaborate with Indee engineering team on system upgrades, new features, and functionalities.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in media distribution.
- Proven experience in managing and leading teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of distribution workflows, various film, video, audio and digital formats (UHD SDR, UHD HDR-10, Dolby Vision, IMF, DCP, etc.), home media production, technical spec profiles, closed captioning and subtitle formats, various aspect ratios, QC processes, file delivery applications, etc.
- Media & Entertainment industry experience
Additional Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Airtable, Smartsheet, Outlook, Microsoft Office/365, Frame.io, Media Silo, Aspera, Media Shuttle, Salesforce, Xytech, etc.
- Highly organized, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $150,000.00 - 165,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
