Overview and Responsibilities:

 

We are currently seeking an eager Senior Financial Analyst to join the Studios Finance team! As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a key driver of financial excellence and support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role offers an opportunity for individuals with a passion for finance to contribute meaningfully within a collaborative team environment. You will play an integral part in ensuring the company’s financial operations are efficient and effective while gaining valuable experience and professional development. Additionally, this role will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights, optimize resource allocation, and support business growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Support the planning function for overhead and development, including monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans
  • Analyze operating expenses and assist with variance explanations between actuals, budget, and forecasts
  • Manage the master data for development term deals and projects in Oracle and offline Excel files
  • Assist in 3rd-party billing, term deal charge-off, and participation charge-off
  • Prepare development reserve reconciliations and related journal entries
  • Perform various ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, or accounting

 

Additional Qualifications:

 

  • Entertainment industry experience highly preferred; experience in media, technology, or consulting a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite required; experience in Oracle, Cognos, TM1, SAP, BW Report a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated team player with strong communication and organizational skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $85,000.00 - 100,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
