Publicity Intern
Territory/ Division: Paramount Pictures France
Reports To: Marketing Director & Online Publicist
Is this the role for you?
Role Objectives:
To provide administrative assistance and support to the entire Publicity department. This position will afford an invaluable training opportunity for those interested in film marketing.
What will you be doing?
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
● Participating in monitoring the press relations strategy for film releases
● Drafting, preparing and sending out press releases
● Monitoring online and offline articles – Editorial feedback
● Helping to update new press contacts and influencers
● Contribution to PowerPoint presentations
● Organization and logistical follow-up of contests with media and influencers
● Participating to special operations
● Helping to organize previews and influencer events
● Post-event reporting
● Sending press material to journalists
● One-off assignments: creating activity reports, helping to follow up journalists, hosting press screenings/previews, briefing the creative agencies on visuals, and various freelance.
What are we looking for?
● 4/5 years' higher education, university or business school
● Knowledge of and interest in cinema
● Creativity and curiosity about the world of brands.
● Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
● Dynamic, rigorous, organized and autonomous
● Good command of office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
● Proficiency in Mailchimp
● Fluency in French and English essential
● Knowledge / internships with a film distributor or press office - desirable
