For the Paramount Pictures office in Paris (Levallois-Perret) we are recruiting a full-time:

 

Theatrical Localization Manager


Is this the role for you?

The role oversees the full localization workflow for films and trailers, managing dubbing, subtitling, script delivery, localized marketing assets, and coordination with studios, vendors, and talent.

 

What will you be doing?


Role Objectives:

  • Coordination of dubbing and subtitling for films and film trailers with various studios.
  • Monitoring of versions of On Screen Texts, Key Names, dubbing cards, partial subtitles, etc…
  • Checking and delivery of French dubbed and subtitled scripts (for films and trailers) to the team.
  • Ordering trailers and monitoring GFX-related creative assets, validation with the vendor. Follow-up on French scripts and subtitled adaptations, recording sessions, and delivery of versions to the team for final approval.
  • Establishing star talent contracts for animated movies (preparing contracts, liaising with agents, signature via the studio in charge, sending to the US for archiving). Coordination with artists/agents for recording sessions (cars, meals…), as well as for any marketing-planned making-of content.
  • Following localization of the various assets ordered by the marketing team (TV spots, clips, etc.).
  • Scheduling film screenings with various screening rooms: requests and delivery of DCPs or electronic delivery, and ordering KDMs. Logistic follow-up and occasional on-site checking before the screening.

 

CNC and Legal Deposit:

  • CNC and RPCA: via the respective platforms: Preparing files for registration requests via the CNC platform. Payment of registration and vision taxes. Preparing all elements for film commission screenings. Requesting commission review through the platform. Delivering film to the CNC. Requesting commission screening for each trailer digitally, plus delivery.
  • LEGAL DEPOSIT – DELIA platform: Granting access to lab for upload of the film, sending available elements (synopsis, poster, trailer in ProRes format) to the lab. Maintaining an updated recap.

 

Administrative Follow-Up:

  • Updating technical costs, in coordination with the sales department : preparing the technical cost budget for each film release; precise budget monitoring.
  • Purchase orders : drafting POs for various services (security agents, screening rooms, etc.).
  • Ordering security agents for screenings, Premieres, etc.
  • Monitoring emails and handling various urgent matters.
  • Archiving all documents on the network and SharePoint. All scripts (original, dubbed, subtitled) must be duplicated on the network in both the film folder and the Technical Management folder.
  • Updating our databases (film information and DCP orders, celebrity talents, animation film fees, list of adaptors/film, technical address listings, etc.).

 

What are we looking for?


Must‑Have Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a theatrical distribution company, dubbing studio, or similar audiovisual/post‑production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of localization and audiovisual coordination, ideally gained within film, TV, entertainment, or media.
  • Solid understanding of dubbing and subtitling workflows, including vendor management, script/material review, and asset delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Bac +2 minimum (audiovisual, media, communication, languages, production, or related fields).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, coordinate with various internal and external partners, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially when reviewing scripts, on‑screen text, and technical materials.
  • Strong time‑management skills and comfort working in fast‑paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • A proactive, resourceful, and self‑directed approach to daily tasks.
  • Genuine passion for cinema, entertainment, and theatrical releases.

 

Preferred skills:

  • Familiarity with DCP workflows, KDM ordering, and screening logistics (delivery to theaters, KDM keys, technical checks).
  • Experience handling GFX/localized assets, trailer versioning, and coordination with creative vendors.
  • Working knowledge of CNC, RPCA, legal deposit, or strong willingness to learn these processes.
  • Solid administrative abilities: purchase orders, budgeting, archiving, and data tracking.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), SharePoint, and/or media delivery platforms or subtitling tools.
  • A flexible, curious mindset and enthusiasm for taking on diverse, hands‑on coordination/administration responsibilities.
