Is this the role for you?
We’re looking for a collaborative and commercially focused Account Director to join Paramount Advertising International. In this role, you’ll work with agencies and clients across a range of categories within the Paramount portfolio, pitching, negotiating and delivering best‑in‑class advertising solutions.
Partnering closely with an Account Manager and Planner, you’ll help ensure campaigns are delivered as proposed, while developing strategies and solutions that unlock investment at agency and advertiser level.
What will you be doing?
Client Management & Business Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, agency contacts, and key accounts across the UK and international advertising landscape.

Develop and present compelling advertising proposals that showcase the power of Paramount’s streaming, digital and social platforms, aligned with client objectives and outcomes.

Develop a strong understanding of client needs and campaign goals, shaping solutions that meet their requirements.

Grow and nurture a healthy pipeline of opportunities to support sustainable revenue growth.

Leverage established brand and agency relationships to expand business opportunities.

Work alongside the wider PAI sales team to complement and coordinate the go‑to‑market (GTM) sales approach.
Sales Execution & Strategy

Implement strategic sales plans to maximise advertising revenue across Paramount’s streaming and digital platforms.

Deliver quarterly revenue targets through a focus on client retention and thoughtful growth of the existing advertising book of business.

Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts, partnering with internal teams to unlock value.

Accurately plan and forecast pipeline, new business and revenue booked.
Team Coordination & Leadership
-
Partner with the Group Account Director to support client satisfaction, retention and account development.

Coach and support Account Managers, providing clear direction and guidance.

Collaborate closely with the Account Management team to manage expectations and deliver successful campaigns.

Enable smooth communication between Sales and cross‑functional teams including Product, Technical and Creative.
Platform Knowledge & Innovation
-
Build a strong understanding of Paramount’s streaming and digital ecosystem, including Paramount+, 5 Streaming, Pluto TV and Paramount YouTube channels.

Keep up to date with developments in streaming and video advertising, sharing relevant insights with clients and internal teams.

Contribute to the development of innovative advertising solutions that leverage the strengths of each platform.

Share market feedback with Product, Marketing and Leadership teams to support future development.
Performance Management & Reporting
-
Support the Group Account Director with account‑level P&L oversight and project scope management.

Deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and attend strategic meetings with key clients to build long‑term, senior‑level relationships.
What are we looking for?
-
Extensive experience in advertising sales, with a focus on digital video and streaming platforms in the UK market.

Proven ability to manage and grow key client relationships.

Strong understanding of the streaming and digital advertising landscape and market trends, ideally in both UK and international contexts.

Familiarity with industry tools such as FreeWheel, Clearcast and programmatic DSPs and SSPs.

Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable client insights.

Strength in leadership, mentoring and cross‑functional collaboration.

Strategic, solutions‑focused mindset with strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.

Sound financial acumen, including budget and revenue management.
