#WeAreParamount on a mission to unleash the power of content… you in?
We’ve got the brands, we’ve got the stars, we’ve got the power to achieve our mission to entertain the planet – now all we’re missing is… YOU! Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Together, we co-create moments that matter – both for our audiences and our employees – and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.

Is this the role for you?

We’re looking for a Designer & Editorial Product Designer to join a global publishing team supporting a wide range of licensed products across EMEA. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of design, editorial quality, and product development, and who values collaboration with creative partners around the world.

You’ll work closely with editorial, design, and cross‑functional teams to guide publishing partners through the creative approval process, ensuring products are engaging, on‑brand, and relevant for local markets.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll support the development and approval of a broad publishing portfolio, including:

  • Storybooks, chapter books, readers, and special formats (such as board, bath, and novelty books)
  • Comics, graphic novels, magazines, colouring and activity books
  • Workbooks, sticker books, planners, calendars, and audio formats
  • Books with toy or 3D elements (working alongside Toy and 3D teams)
  • Packaging, PDQ retail displays, and marketing assets (digital, print, and social)
  • You’ll provide clear, constructive editorial and design feedback, helping partners navigate approval systems while maintaining creative quality and brand consistency across territories.
  • Review and guide publishing products through design and editorial approvals
  • Support partners with feedback that balances creative ambition, brand integrity, and contractual requirements
  • Contribute to partner onboarding through brand immersions, training, and style‑guide presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to shape design direction for new and evolving properties
  • Copy‑edit and proofread manuscripts with a strong eye for clarity, tone, and accuracy
  • Create presentations for best practices, operational updates, and internal reviews
  • Research publishing trends and competitor products, sharing insights to inform future creative decisions

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in publishing product development, with exposure to both design and editorial workflows
  • Confidence working with licensed brands and creative approval processes
  • Strong visual judgement and editorial attention to detail
  • Practical experience using Adobe Creative Suite and presentation tools
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and partners across different markets
  • Clear, thoughtful communication skills and a collaborative working style
  • An interest in children’s publishing or licensed consumer products (helpful but not essential)
  • A background or qualification in Graphic Design (helpful but not required)

How you’ll work:

  • Organised, adaptable, and comfortable juggling priorities
  • Curious about publishing formats, trends, and how audiences engage with content
  • Comfortable sharing feedback and leading discussions with partners and internal teams
  • Motivated by quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
