#WeAreParamount on a mission to unleash the power of content… you in?
We’ve got the brands, we’ve got the stars, we’ve got the power to achieve our mission to entertain the planet – now all we’re missing is… YOU! Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Together, we co-create moments that matter – both for our audiences and our employees – and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.

Is this the role for you?

Paramount's Global Content Distribution Group is looking for an Event Marketing Director to lead the planning and delivery of our global event calendar, including MIPCOM, ATF, London Screenings, LA Screenings, and regional markets and meetings.

You'll be the central point of contact for everyone involved in making these events happen: our LA-based marketing team, the global sales team, and the external partners and vendors who bring each market to life. This is a role for someone who thrives on structure, keeps people aligned, and turns complex logistics into a plan that runs on time and on budget.

What will you be doing?

  • Own the annual event calendar, working with organisers to lock in deadlines for exhibit space, housing, and other logistics
  • Partner with Creative Services, Sales, Marketing, and external agencies and vendors to coordinate event logistics from start to finish
  • Build detailed task lists for each event and keep every team moving until items are closed out
  • Build, track, sign off, and reconcile event budgets
  • Pull together learnings and data from previous markets so this year's planning starts from insight, not scratch
  • Lead weekly planning meetings, keeping stakeholders current on progress, open items, and upcoming deadlines
  • Give senior leadership regular status updates and post-event recaps, including budget performance and key takeaways
  • Spot risk early, whether that's a budget overrun, a vendor delay, or a scheduling conflict, and resolve it before it becomes a problem

What success looks like

  • Every event lands on time and on budget, with no last-minute scrambles
  • Marketing, Sales, Creative Services, and vendors all know to come to you for status, timelines, and open items
  • Nothing slips through: task lists are thorough, action items get closed out, and leadership is never caught off guard
  • Each market builds on the last, with post-event reports and historical data shaping smarter decisions going forward

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years' experience in event marketing, event production, or a related field, ideally within media, entertainment, or global distribution/sales
  • A track record of managing multiple high-stakes events at once, including coordinating international travel and logistics (for markets such as MIPCOM, ATF, or similar)
  • Strong budget management experience, from building and tracking through to final reconciliation
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with experience presenting to and managing the expectations of senior leadership
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, comfortable taking ownership of ambiguity and creating clarity for a wide range of stakeholders
  • Able to travel internationally as required for market events
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; equivalent professional experience is equally welcome
