Is This Role For You?
Sitting within our vibrant, agile-focused HR Operations function, the HR Operations Specialist plays a key role in delivering accurate, efficient, and high-quality HR services to the business and wider People team. Working across the full employee lifecycle, you'll look after core HR processes and help resolve more complex employee queries (tier 2).
As part of a busy team navigating an exciting period of change, you'll help shape the ongoing development and improvement of HR operations, helping ensure processes run consistently and in line with company standards and SLAs. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across HR, including HR Business Partners, payroll, and COEs, to provide reliable operational support and keep employee experience front and centre.
This is a varied role where you'll take care of key activities such as payroll coordination, HR reporting, benefits administration (including invoicing), and sensitive employee processes, while also supporting employee-facing activities such as parental leave activities and benefits sessions. You'll play an important role in maintaining data accuracy, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
What You'll Be Doing

Investigate and resolve complex HR operational and process queries escalated from Coordinators, employees, and HR Business Partners via AskHR or the shared inbox

Deliver a consistent, high-quality employee experience, keeping SLAs on track

Coordinate and produce HR reporting, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with local and global processes

Oversee end-to-end payroll administration, including data preparation, reporting, benefits changes, audit support, and stakeholder engagement

Help shape and continuously improve tier 2 HR processes (e.g., parental leave, involuntary exits, benefits administration)

Guide annual policy reviews and updates, ensuring compliance with EMEA legislation and best practice

Handle sensitive employee documentation (e.g., occupational health referrals, redundancy calculations, settlement agreements)

Facilitate employee-facing sessions such as parental leave meetings, exit interview referrals, and benefits briefings

Look after benefits invoicing and support annual reporting cycles

Conduct regular audits to help ensure compliance with statutory and internal standards

Maintain best practice across HR systems, data integrity, and documentation

Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, sharing your expertise where needed
What Are We Looking For?

High level of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail

Good working knowledge of European employment law and multi-country HR operations across EMEA

Experience handling complex and sensitive HR matters

Experience managing payroll processes and HR reporting

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Able to work independently, prioritise effectively, and stay adaptable in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment

Experience with HR systems and driving process improvement

Excellent communication skills (in English), with the ability to communicate clearly, warmly, and compellingly
