Do you love comedy? Are you a meme-appreciator and pop culture anorak who knows their stand-up from their sitcoms? As a Junior Social Media Producer working across Comedy Central titles, you will create, produce and curate eye-popping and audience-pleasing social media content to support key IP across our owned and operated social media platforms.
You will report into, and work closely with, the Senior Digital Producer to deliver data-led, audience first content that builds fandom, grows our social platforms and drives growth, engagement and culture impact.
A true social media native, you’ll be at home with memes, pop culture and all things vertical video as you support the Digital Brand Team to deliver content that supports core titles across Comedy Central and Paramount+.
What will you be doing?
Working closely with the team's Senior Digital Producer and Digital Brand Lead, you'll work across the day-to-day creation and curation of content to support key titles across all owned digital platforms on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts across the portfolio
As a huge TV fan, you’ll produce content to support and sustain core Comedy Central franchises. A real digital native, you’ll have a passion for, and knowledge of, our priority social platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- You'll compose, produce and deliver compelling and engaging social media content and help to manage a fast-paced and reactive posting schedule
- You’ll pitch ideas, assist with the generation of social campaigns and write and edit social copy within the brand’s tone of voice
- When required, you will play a key role in gathering on-set content, supporting the Senior Digital Producer in shooting Behind-The Scenes or interview content to support a campaign
- Taking an active role in the planning and scheduling of content, you’ll ensure best practices and processes are adhered to across platforms
- With an elementary understanding of video editing, you’ll clip, edit and reformat video content for social platforms
- You’ll obtain cleared media assets for use in content creation
- You'll brim with ideas, presenting and pitching proposals for creative content development
- As we deliver our content to regional teams, you’ll assist with communication and international delivery of content
- Attend weekly meetings and 360s with key channel partners, where you'll deliver campaign updates and performance reports
