What will you be doing?
As a Midweight Creative on 5 you will create multiplatform campaigns to launch brilliant brand new original TV programmes, unmissable content bundles and special on air seasons on 5.
You will develop engaging social media campaigns across all major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube) to promote our programmes as well as writing and editing on air promos for all 5’s TV channels (Channel 5, 5Action, 5Star, 5Select, 5USA) and the new 5 streaming platform (which is replacing My5 in March).
You will report into and work closely with a Senior Creative and work in close collaboration with the rest of the department, including Design, Production, Marketing, Social, Press and Media Planning.
What are we looking for?
- Experience of working within a creative team on multiplatform campaigns.
- Very strong at social-first thinking and adept at finding ways to make content stand out on any platform.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences and social media advertising processes
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Excellent editing skills, proficient in Adobe Premiere and familiar with the wider Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator etc).
- Strong visual communication skills and an understanding of visual trends.
- Adept at working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience collaborating with designers to build key campaign imagery as well as 2D/3D motion design elements.
- Strong understanding of and able to deliver further to marketing briefs, crafting creative ideas to fit the brief and always able to flex and adapt to feedback.
- Showreel of creative work demonstrating all of the above.
