About the Role: Operations Assistant
This is an essential role within the Channel 5 Commissioning Operations unit, supporting the smooth running of internal processes as well providing support for the Commissioning Department and Production Company partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Commissioning Operations managers and Coordinators across the commissioning and production workflow
- Maintain and update internal documentation with accurate and up to date production details and commissioning information for reporting and circulation to the wider business
- Track, review and report on all key post-production paperwork
- Manage the commissioning operations inbox, handling both external and internal queries accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and update the production hub with accurate and up to date documentation and information from various departments
- Assist in tracking and documenting the workflow for commissioning approvals ensuring all audit requirements are met
- Liaising with key stakeholders across the business as the key point of contact within the team
- Support data analysis and reporting for production finances, project milestones, and other operational metrics
- Handle ad-hoc requests and contribute to various commissioning and production department projects
Your Skills & Experience:
- Experience in an administrative / operational support role, ideally within media, television, or production.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data tracking and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of production and data management systems such as Silvermouse / BAFTA Albert.
- Strong knowledge applications such as Airtable and Slack.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- The ability to work independently and take initiative as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
