Viewer Insight sits at the heart of the Paramount business and understanding our existing and potential viewers informs everything we do.  

This role will work across all channels in the portfolio to deliver actionable insight to drive creative and commercial success. You will be a voice of the viewer for our internal partners.

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Provide a full audience insight service for the 5 FTA portfolio – linear and streaming
  • Provide daily insight to key partners including, but not exhaustive of Commissioners, Acquisitions, Scheduling, Press, Marketing and Strategy
  • Continue to evolve the business understanding of viewing beyond linear TV using As Viewed reporting and other external data sets
  • Work closely with the streaming team to ensure joined up knowledge and metrics
  • Run and manage high profile marketing quant tracker
  • Run and manage ad hoc qualitative research projects
  • Work closely with Marketing and Creative teams to measure campaign success
  • Represent 5 and Paramount on Barb Workstreams
  • Manage relationships with external research partners
  • Manage other members of the team
  • Work closely with the entire Viewer Insight and Analytics, Airtime and Forecasting team
  • Provide strategic insight to the wider Paramount business

 

What are we looking for?

  • Experienced researcher ideally from a media background
  • Highly numerate and competent at analysing large datasets to deliver actionable insight
  • Exceptional excel skills
  • Experience of managing team members
  • Exceptional degree of knowledge of Barb and As Viewed Data
  • Knowledge of scripting surveys using Decipher or similar software
  • Detailed knowledge of data systems including Techedge, TV Beat and Adobe
  • Detailed knowledge of intelligence services such as Ampere
  • Good Microsoft office skills – powerpoint being key
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to work with autonomy and take responsibility for your own workload
