Paramount Global Content Distribution represents one of the world’s most established collections of television formats, spanning both scripted and unscripted content. We license these titles to broadcasters, platforms, and production companies worldwide.

Our catalogue includes well-known reality formats such as Next Top Model, Jersey Shore, and Ex on the Beach; studio and entertainment programming including Entertainment Tonight and The Line‑Up; and classic game shows like Pictionary and Hollywood Squares. Scripted titles include dramas such as The Good Wife, The Affair, Blue Bloods, and Ray Donovan, alongside comedies including Cheers, Charmed, and Frasier.

This role focuses on building thoughtful, long-term partnerships and supporting the international growth of our formats across a range of markets.

What will you be doing?

Sales

• License Paramount’s format catalogue across assigned territories, working towards agreed revenue goals.
• Prepare sales forecasts for annual budgets and individual projects,and track performance over time.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while identifying and developing new business opportunities alongside colleagues in the wider sales team.
• Stay informed about Paramount’s formats and the wider market, using this knowledge to support placement decisions and local adaptations.
• Work with the Head of International Formats and other colleagues to prepare and deliver market‑specific presentations and contribute to pan-territory negotiations.
• Attend international TV markets and travel within territories as part of the role.
  
  

Production & Development

• Work closely with the Format Production Manager to ensure local productions are tracked accurately, including scheduling and performance information.
• Agree consultancy arrangements as part of format deals and coordinate delivery with the Format Production Manager.
• Review the commercial potential of formats in development or under consideration for acquisition.
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Several years’ experience in television distribution, with some exposure to format licensing.
• Willingness to travel and work with partners across different international markets.
• An understanding of the content distribution process, including development, production, sales, marketing, and acquisition.
• Some experience of financial planning, budgeting, or working with legal agreements (with support from Business & Legal Affairs).
• A genuine interest in television formats across genres and in working with people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.
• Experience negotiating and presenting, with the ability to explain ideas clearly and confidently.
• An organised and proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple pieces of work at once.
• Comfort working in a fast‑changing environment and adjusting priorities when needed.
• A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to contribute ideas and listen to others.
• Strong relationship‑building skills, both internally and externally.
• Clear, respectful communication that supports teamwork.
• Sound commercial judgement and attention to detail.
