Is this the role for you?

The Kids & Family side of Paramount is tasked with delivering the best kids & family entertainment globally as well as supporting the roll out of key franchise titles, our linear networks, streaming services, and FAST channels. With worldwide hits like SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dora – the world of Paramount Kids & Family is the No. 1 destination for kids globally, and it’s our mission to make the world a more playful place.

The creative team is the shop window, the voice of the brands, and often the audience’s first look into the world of Paramount Kids & Family. It’s our responsibility to ensure we showcase our characters and content in a way that entices kids to take action – to watch a new series, to be excited by our Paramount+ offering, and to come back for more!

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and mentor the mid-weight creatives within the team, using their experience and expertise to guide the direction of their projects, feeding back on ideas, scripts, and rough cuts before final approval – ensuring each project hits the brief.
  • Create 360 campaigns for the channels, from initial concept to directing shoots, self editing, directing graphics & audio and voice over sessions to final delivery of versioned promos.
  • Ensuring all campaigns are creatively aligned across all platforms – on air, social, ATL, digital - collaborating with other departments to ensure campaign objectives are met
  • Work closely with the Senior Creative Manager & the production team on creative concepts, branding, and scripting for Nickelodeon events, such as SlimeFest & Nickelodeon Big Base Camp.
  • Create long form programming to brief with creative responsibility across concept, running order, scripting, graphics branding and final audio – working closely with the commissioning editor to ensure creative excellence.
  • Attend meetings and taskforces as and when required ensuring notes and information is fed back.
  • Ensure the accuracy of information delivered in promos to air.
  • Conceive and develop new ideas to promote the brand through image pieces and interstitial content
  • Source music and liaise with licensing for clearance and reporting.
  • Archive old projects on a job-by-job basis, ensuring all GFX, edits and OMF’s are easily sourced when needed.
  • Ensure the delivery of all given projects are timely and in budget.

What are we looking for?

  • Solid and varied experience in building promotional campaigns in the UK & International regions, with a very strong show-reel.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring creative producers
  • Excellent copy writing skills for short form promotion.
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Premiere (self operating) with a strong understanding of 3D/2D animation and graphic design.
  • Directing skills – ability to direct on screen talent, voice over artists, and graphics designers.
  • Expertise in the post production industry across animation, graphics design, audio, on-line, and grading.
  • Sound knowledge of social media platforms, their functions, and advertising opportunities for brands.
  • Experience in art directing designers across multiple media – print, social, on air and digital.

  • Ability to understand research insights and how to use those to inform the creative approach to a promotional campaign.
  • Ability to make funny & entertaining promos for a discerning and demanding audience.
  • Currently in a similar role within a TV environment
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and positive.
  • Great at working in a team environment.
  • Understanding of how an in house creative team works, and what departments are key collaborators & partners.
